| The Title One Program provides supplemental educational services to ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high quality education. At Hazel Park, title one funding is provided to improve the basic programs that are offered through the school and to help all students meet high academic standards.
Our goal at Hazel Park is to assist students in meeting grade level expectations in all subject areas. Parents are part of the title one team and are encouraged to participate in their child's education. Parents need to work with their child at home, attend parent/teacher conferences, keep teachers, counselors, social workers and administration informed about home events that might affect their child at school.
Parents are invited to attend meetings, to learn more about their rights and responsibilities.
