Reading Strategies

AMP reading materials
This class is designed to teach students reading strategies that can be applied across the curriculum using the AMP program by Pearson. Strategies will include self questioning, monitoring for understanding, predicting, summarizing and organizational skills. The students will read a variety of texts including novels, short stories, essays, newspaper articles and their core curriculum texts.
