Pop Culture
In this class students will try to define popular culture using the fundamentals of sociology and cultural anthropology.  They will learn about the history of Pop culture in twentieth century America.  They will examine pop art, advertising, media, music, and fashion.  From these "texts" students will learn how to critically consume and analytically discuss and write about the world then.
