Students of the Quarter
We
are very proud of the students at HPA! Our students are working hard to
achieve at a high level, and to meet our rigorous standards and
expectations.
Each
week a number of students are nominated “students of the week” by HPA
staff on the basis of attitude, academics, performance, attendance, etc. At the end of each quarter, twenty-four of those students are awarded “Student of the Quarter.”
Students of the Quarter are recognized in the following ways:
- Quarterly breakfast celebration for students, families and staff
- Letter home to parent/guardian & Certificate of Recognition
- Student of the Quarter I.D. Card (Gets them to the front of the lunch lines.)
- HPA Redjack T-shirt (They may wear it on Fridays)
- Students identified on the HPA morning news show, website and school newsletter
- Pizza lunch with the principal
- Service project the community
Student Recognition

writing by the COMPAS organization through the Writers & Artists in

Student’s work will be published in Eyes Full of Sky, an annual anthology which features the best student writing from COMPAS published in December of 2007.
