Home Ec. has undergone many changes over the years, the least of which is the name, hoping to make it more desireable for everyone, not just the girls!  Classes in FACS (Family and Consumer Science) are about basic life skills, cooking so one can eat and sewing so one can fix the hole in their pants!  Years ago, Home Ec. was about stitching and stirring, Today we go far beyond: where our ancestors came from to where we are going in our lives, and many stops in-between.  Learning to make good choices and how much responsibility it is to be a parent through Child Development and how to connect to other cultures through Fabulous Foods.   Welcome!  Come on in and Explore all that we have to offer.
