| The New Home Economics Home Ec. has undergone many changes over the years, the least of
which is the name, hoping to make it more desireable for everyone, not
just the girls! Classes in FACS (Family and Consumer
Science) are about basic life skills, cooking so you can eat and sewing
so you can fix the hole in your pants! Years ago, Home Ec. was about
stitching and stirring, Today we look at where our ancestors are from,
where we are going in our lives, and the many stops in-between.

How we get from Farm to Fashion in Fashion Focus
as we explore where fibers come from, learn the basics of knitting and
weaving and then on to constructing our own clothing. Fashion Show
possibilities....!
