       The counselors partner with students regarding academic and personal/social counseling.  We appreciate the tremendous physical and emotional change that adolescents experience in this time of life.  The middle school years may be challenging or difficult at times for students, and this is very normal.  Often students work out problems themselves, but some may require additional support.  Both are a natural part of the growing process!

     We encourage students and parents/guardians to contact their student’s counselor with any questions, or concerns.  Hazel Park Academy has a number of professionals supporting students.  The counselors may simply be a great first contact in determining the best professional to assist your student at a specific time.
